What is GIS?
A Geographic Information System or GIS is a computer system that allows you to map, model, query, and analyse large quantities of data within a single database according to their location. GIS gives you the power to: create maps, organise data, and analyse data.
What is Photogrammetry?
Photogrammetry is the science of making measurements from photographs. The output of photogrammetry is typically a map, drawing or a 3d model of some real-world object or scene. Many of the maps we use today are created with photogrammetry and photographs taken from aircraft.
